He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hunt Lanier; his children, Kelly Antonio Lenair, Angela Annette Williams (Keith) of Shelby, LaVonne Lenair Russell of Charlotte, Cherie Lenair of Winston Salem and Sandra Ann Lenair; and his siblings, Sarah Degree Whitworth of Shelby, Henrietta Degree Boyce (Thomas) and Franklin Lowis Degree (Yvonne). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and countless adored nieces and nephews.
