She is survived by: her husband D. P. Washburn; her brother Larry Sitton (Carroll); her sons, Sullivan (Sally) and Pace Lineberger (Suzanne); and her stepdaughters, Lisa Cadmus (Scott) and Lori Inderkummen (Jean-Pierre). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ascension Lutheran Church of Shelby (300 N Lafayette St, Shelby, NC 28152).
