He was predeceased by: his parents, William Romie Paige and Flossie Towery Paige; and his wife Margie Proctor Paige. He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Paige Kroncke (James) and Lisa Paige Hall (Leggs); and his grandchildren, Dr Anna Kroncke (Jason Cochran), Gretchen Sosnowski (Jamie Sosnowski), William Kroncke (Emily), Adam Hall, Stephen Hall (Geena), Maggie Bell (Lee) and Ellen Davis (Christian). He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Eastside Baptist Church (1165 Wyke Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church, Shelby, NC or St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
