She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Burgin and Margaret Josephine Tucker Neal; and her brother John Bruce Neal. She is survived by: her husband Dr. John Carl Hamrick Jr. "Jack"; her children, John Carl Hamrick, III (Marie) of Shelby, Howard Tucker Hamrick (Danielle) of Inman, SC, Anne Neal Hamrick Pasco (Paul Pasco III) of Huntley, IL and Mary Margaret Hamrick Young (Jamie) of St; her grandchildren, Jordan Pasco, Davis Pasco, Porscha Street-Elton (Nick), Jack Hamrick, Emma Hamrick, James Young, Jackson Young, Margaret "Meg" Young, Payton Hamrick, Abbey Hamrick and Luke Hamrick; and her great grandchild Camille Elton.

She was the only person who served twice as president of the Junior Charity League.
