She was predeceased by: her former husband Lannie Everett Godfrey; her husband William Duke Hill; and her siblings, W. D. Freeman, Joe Freeman and Alvonia Funderburk.
She is survived by: her sons, Lannie Joe Godfrey (Susan Wilson Godfrey) and Ernest Jerome Godfrey (Elizabeth Blanton Godfrey). She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
