He is survived by: his wife Janice Kale; his children, Gina Hallman, Greg Kale (Susan) and Jeff Kale (Julie); his grandchildren, Darin Hallman (Blake), David Hallman (Kara), Katie Kale, Jacob Kale and Jennifer Kale; his great grandchild Penny Hallman; and his brothers, Howard Kale (Kay), Ronnie Kale (Barbara), Steve Kale (Sherry) and Joseph Kale (Betty).
