In the vast expanse of eternity, Michele shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michele farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her father Michael C Polovitch; and her brother Michael Polovitch. She is survived by: her children, Tara Thorne Askew, Mason Scott Blackman, Brody Michael Blackman and Blake Allen Blackman; her mother Patricia Meadows; and her aunt Irene Ryan of Atizona.
A memorial service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Landmark Baptist Church- Shelby (1724 E Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152). Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
