It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitchell Murphy of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 28, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by : his parents, Kelli Renee Cline and Randall Wayne Murphy; his sons, Remington Gray Murphy and Memphis Wayne Murphy; his brothers, Jerry Murphy, Westley Murphy and Dylon Murphy; and his grandfather Norman Murphy.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Carpenter-Porter Funeral & Cremation Services (1100 E Main St, Cherryville, NC 28021). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at the Patterson Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (2107 Cleveland Ave, Grover, NC 28073).
