She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey S. Jones and Gussie Beam Jones; her siblings, William Bo Jones, Wilhelmina Jones Howell, Betty Ruth Jones Price and Rebecca Jones Queen; and her sister-in-law Mary Waters Gillis.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Lee Waters; her daughters, Melissa Waters and Melanie Ashe (Vonell); her grandchildren, Will Ashe (Carlie) and Weston Ashe; and her sisters, Linda Jones Martin and Dede Jones Melton.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westwood Heights Baptist Church (650 Dellinger Rd, Shelby, NC 28152).
