She is survived by: her husband C. Wayne Weathers Sr.; her son Dennis Owensby (Beverly) of Ellenboro, NC; her stepchildren, Angela Culbertson (Michael) of Shelby, NC, Dawn Walker, Jody Pilkington of Shelby, NC and Carl Wayne Weathers Jr. of Shelby, NC; her grandsons, Adam Owensby of Wilmington, NC and Lucas Owensby of Ellenboro, NC; her stepgrandchildren, Tabitha Rice, Justin Rice, Taylor Whitesides (Westley) of Chesnee, SC, Mason Walker (Madelyn) of Cramerton, NC, Miranda Ayers of Shelby, NC, Allie Ayers of Shelby, NC, Devon Triplett (Jared) of Shelby, NC, Gunnar Weathers and Gracie Beam of Shelby, NC; her brother Steve Canipe of Shelby, NC; and her pet Brandy. She is also survived by 1 great grandchild, 11 step great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Cemetery (412 W Sumter St, Shelby, NC 28150).
