With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Randy Allen (Shelby, North Carolina), born in Greenwood, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Randy left this world on July 22, 2025 at the age of 63, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Platt Allen and Joan Hanna; and his stepfather Boyce Hanna. He is survived by: his daughters, Cortlan and Caroline; his wife Catherine Allen (Cathy); his grandchild Cortlan Zaludek (Jake); his siblings, Altman Ann Allen Anderson (Richard), Ginger Whitehead (Danny), Kevin Allen (Judy) and Sandy (Pam); and also Shane Greene (Ashley). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory (106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church (1207 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Cemetery (412 W Sumter St, Shelby, NC 28150).
