Though Rebecca may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Hamrick and Rachel Hamrick; her husband Doug Carroll; and her sister Carolyn Poston. She is survived by: her children, Lee Carroll (Angel) and Wendy Morgan; and her grandchildren, Hallie Machak (Logan), Ashley Bradshaw (Cameron), Elijah Carroll, Caleb Morgan and Rachel Curry (Sage).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (3932 Pleasant Grove Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church (198 Pleasant Ridge Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28152).
