With sadness, we share the passing of Roger Cox of Shelby, North Carolina. Roger, born on November 1, 1965, passed away on October 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Cox and Ruth Cox; his brothers, Terry and Marty Cox; his grandson Karsyn Franklin; his in-laws, Bob and Marilyn Ramsey; and his aunt Hazel Berry.
He is survived by: his wife Amber Cox; his children, Erin Cox McKinney (Andy) of Seneca, SC, Brandy Wen (Michael "Sean") of Raleigh, NC and Cory Franklin (Brittany) of Shelby, NC; his grandchildren, Jayln, Cullen Moon, Kai, Elli McKinney, Rosemary, Soren Wen, Kadyn, Koltyn and Memphis Franklin; his great grandchild Sophia Moon; and his cousins, Gideon and Pike.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (320 Old Boiling Springs Rd, Shelby, NC 28152). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
