She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Davis and Beatrice Davis; her former husbands, Loy Allen Tallent and Hugh Gold; her son Christopher Allen Tallent; and her brother Max Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Roe Lemmuel Hafer; her son Tim Tallent (Teresa) of Shelby, NC; her grandchildren, Ansley Tallent of Raleigh, NC, Matthew Tallent of Asheville, NC, Katelyn Tallent of Raleigh, NC and Garrett Tallent (Emma) of Italy; her great grandchildren, Peter Michael Tallent and Walden Tallent; and her stepdaughters, Lynn Ledford and Ann Harrill.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Zion Baptist Church (525 W Zion Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
