We announce the death of Steve Linnens of Shelby, North Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2026, at the age of 69. Steve will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, T. Max Linnens and Anne Linnens; and his siblings, Mackie Linnens and Nancy Linnens. He is survived by: his wife Renee Linnens; his sons, Duane Linnens (Candice) and Hunter Linnens (Heather); his grandchildren, Mikaila Johnston (Steven), Clayton Linnens (Jess), Ryder Linnens and Piper Linnens; and his great grandchild Maggie Johnston.
