She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert S. DuBois and Nellie Cole DuBois; her husband John "Jack" Breen; and her sister Pauline Kvamme. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Breen (Diane) of Youngsville, Mark Breen (Amy) of Lawndale and Donna Faries (Craig) of Mooresboro; her grandchildren, Danielle Breen, Amanda White (Kevin), Kendra Virtue (Jake), Anthony Faries (Tori), Avery Breen and Sarah Breen; her great grandchildren, Isabella Grace White, Bobby Virtue, Bohannon Virtue, Julian August White, Chesnee Faries, Magnus Virtue and Jaylee Faries; and her brother Lou DuBois (Judy) of Highland.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory (106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Shelby Presbyterian Church (226 E Graham St, Shelby, NC 28150). A burial was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Fairlawn Memorial Cemetery.
