He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ray Robbins and Mabel Louise McCrary Robbins; and his siblings, Carl "Butch" Robbins and Cinda Lou Robbins. He is survived by: his wife Gina Robbins; and his children, Michaella Johnson (Andy), Anna Danals (Andrew), Stephen Robbins (Rachel), James Robbins, Karah Lupo-Mack (Troy), Nathan Robbins (Sarah Grace) and Jeremy Robbins (Elizabeth).

The military honors will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the Salisbury National Cemetery (501 Statesville Blvd, Salisbury, NC 28144). Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory (106 Cherryville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
