She was predeceased by: her parents, John Travis Vickers and Patricia Hicks Vickers. She is survived by: her significant other Bruce White; her children, Robie White (Lisa) of Shelby and Leigh Anderson (Hal) of Lawndale; her sisters, Kathy Price and Karinne Simmons (Will); her grandchildren, Samantha White, Ross White, Travis McSwain, Jacklyn White, Paden White and Brandon Abernathy; her close friend Rick Wierner of Shelby; and her niece Kari Dawkins. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to North Shelby School or Cleveland County Library.
