We are sad to announce that, on September 12, 2025, at the age of 75, Virginia Faye Gregory (Shelby, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Virginia may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Virginia touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hal Hastings and Betty Hastings. She is survived by: her son Scott Gregory; her brother Hal "Timmy" Hastings Jr.; her nieces, Cylee Hastings and Bobbie Jo Newton; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor Newton, Wynter Irvins, Vincent, Solomon and Rowdy Irvins.
