He is survived by: his wife Diane White; his son William "Perry" Davis Jr. (Shannon); his grandchildren, David Dwayne Mayes of Lincolnton, NC, Miranda Davis Suttles (Dustin) of Cowpens, SC, Lacey Davis Shackelford (Christopher) of Kings Mountain, NC and William "Blake" Davis (Kristin) of Kings Mountain, NC; his great grandchildren, Noah, Weylon, Nevaeh, Annmarie and Thoren; and his sister-in-law Theresa Bridges.
