He is survived by: his wife Cathy Hildebran Taylor; his children, Sheila Gooden (Keith) of Maiden, Jerry Taylor, Jr. (Mandy) of Catawba and Michael Taylor (Dana) of Catawba; his sisters, Julie Spencer of Lincolnton, Beckey Adams and Dorothy Hammer of Stony Point; and his grandchildren, Jonathan (Katie), Brian (Samantha), Thomas (Seirra), Jay, Brock, Jackson, Landon, Tori (Zach), Carin (Austin) and Samantha.
