He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Franklin Jr. and Etta Franklin; and his brother Jim Franklin. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Franklin; his brother John Franklin; his daughters, Jill Franklin and Pam Marler (Rodney); his granddaughters, Lauren Sutton (Spencer) and Laney Marler; and his great grandchildren, Joseph Sutton, Beau Sutton and Ada Sutton. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
