It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ann Scott of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, born in Davenport, Iowa, who passed away on April 19, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Kenneth Wayne Madsen. She is survived by: her husband David Scott; her children, Allison Grant (Ryan), John Scott (Jennifer) and Katherine Perumbeti (Nikhil); her brother William Madsen; and her grandchildren, Evergreen Martha Scott, Graham Breckinridge Scott, Theo Scott Perumbeti and Iris Jean Perumbeti. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207 or American Diabetes Association, 1300 Baxter Street, Suite 150, Charlotte, NC 28204.
