It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otis Elrod of Sherrills Ford, North Carolina, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Elrod, Sr. and Mary Holmes Mathes Elrod; and his son Larry Elrod. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Epley Elrod; and his son Gary Elrod (Teresa) of Hickory.
