He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Patrick Darnell (Christin); his grandson Nick Darnell (Beth); his sister Nickie Avery (Ronnie); his nephews, Jody Avery and Jeff Avery; his former wife Alice-Marie Darnell; and his parents, Roy Lee Darnell and Annie Remona Edge Darnell. He was also cherished by two granddaughters and two grandsons.
