She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Samuel Pillis, Sr. and Helen "Pinkie" Pillis; her brother Samuel Pillis, Jr. (Nancy) of Daleville, VA; and her brother-in-law Bart Rowe of Stuarts Draft, VA.. She is survived by: her husband Michael "Mike" Claggett; her daughters, Erin Michelle Hancock (Justin) of Jarratt, VA and Amanda "Mandy" Claggett (Ryan) of Portsmouth, VA; her siblings, Marty Rowe (William) of Stuarts Draft, VA and Gregory Pillis (Joan) of Buchanan, VA; her sister-in-law Nancy Pillis; and her grandchildren, Abby Hancock and Kiley Hancock. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
