He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Adcock Brower; his parents, George Washington Brower and Emma York Brower; his siblings, Alfred (Virginia), Jack, Hayworth (Dot), Frank (Sara), Mack (Hilda), Jim (Ella), Betty Ann Brower, Jeanette Frazier (Kermit) and Mozelle Stout (Wade); and his son-in-law Tony Butcher.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Phillips (Riley) of Siler City, Sue Butcher of High Point, Sherry Daniel (Jonathan) of Siler City and Billy Joe Brower (Connie) of Ramseur; and his grandchildren, Megan Bailey (Shea), Stacey Hess (Nate), Jenna Stirling, Tyler Butcher, Kelly Brower (Ricky), JJ Daniel and Brittany Bristow (Eric).
