She was predeceased by: her son Kenneth Wayne King; her parents, Paul Harris and Helen Bumgarner Harris; her brother-in-law Billy Joe Brown; and her pets, Sissy and Maggie.
She is survived by: her son Robert King (Charlotte) of Troy; her grandchildren, Meagan Maness (Jefferey) of Asheboro and Zachary King (Bethany) of Clayton, NC; her great grandchild Tripp Elliot Maness; and her siblings, Reita H. Brown of Bennett, Rose Ann Dunn (Ralph) of Ramseur, Peggy H. Howard (Bobby Lynn) of Robbins, Bruce R. Harris (Leah) of Robbins and Paul R. "Ronnie" Harris, Jr. of Bennett. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
