He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Eli Cox and Glysta Avis Cole Cox; and his brother Larry Cox. He is survived by: his sons, Jeffrey Cox (Brandy) and Eric Cox (Melissa); his grandsons, Landon Cox, Eli Cox and Colton Cox; his sister-in-law Peggy Cox; and his nephews, Randy Cox (Carrie) and Roger Cox (Lisa).
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Rocky River Friends Meeting (1795 Staley Snow Camp Rd, Siler City, NC 27344). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
