He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman George Colfax, Sr. and Leah Drew Colfax; and his brother Kenneth Colfax. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Menger Colfax; his sons, Steven David Colfax (Andrea) of Wantage, NJ and Chad Michael Colfax of Antioch, TN; his siblings, Carol Wundrack (Richard) of Newton, NJ, Donna Colfax of Liberty and David Colfax (Wendy) of Ramseur; and his grandson Schuyler Ray Colfax. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel (147 Coleridge Rd, Ramseur, NC 27316).
