She was predeceased by: her parents, Garland Lemmons and Mamie Lemmons; her siblings, Garland Lee Lemmons and Florence Webb; and her siblings-in-law, Frank M. Webb, Harold D. Davis, Ann M. Lemmons and Jean B. Lemmons.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Ray Davis; her sons, Kenneth Ray Davis (Christie) and Ronald Keith Davis (Emily); her grandchildren, Dr. Meredith Davis Bowen (Michael), Mindi Rae Davis, Lauren Davis Scarboro (Stephen Chad Scarboro), Julie Ann Davis, Natali Jo Davis, Millicent Davis Wakeley (Joshua David Wakeley) and Dr. Michael Christopher Mitkos (Hannah Kolcz); her great grandchildren, Laura Ann Bowen, Maxwell Davis Bowen, Davis Chad Scarboro, Kate Loucille Scarboro, Adalynn Jean Wakeley and Noah Joshua Wakeley; and her brother Cecil Lemmons (Vickie).
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations to be made to Milbournie Free Will Baptist Church, 5106 Raleigh Road Pkwy West, Wilson, NC 27896.
