She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Gay (Jack) and Estelle Gay; her stepmother Allene Gay; and her brother Doug Gay. She is survived by: her children, Tommy Davis (Della) and Aimee Coleman (Bobby); her grandchildren, Matthew, Alyssa Davis and Madelyn Coleman; and her siblings, David Gay, Dennis Harrell, Danny Gay and Velma Schmidt. She is also survived by her brothers, sister, children, and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Service (2704 Nash St NW, Wilson, NC 27896). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens of Thomas-Yelverton (2704 Nash St NW, Wilson, NC 27896).
