Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved James Wallace Williams of Sims, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 61, on February 19, 2023. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Williams and Dorothy Fulcher Williams. He is survived by : his sister Diane Long (Thomas) of Canton, NC; his nephew Matthew Long (Tara) of Waynesville, NC; and his close friend Julie. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many lifelong friends.

“Reaching out to the family. I am so sorry to hear about Wally’s passing away. We were friends for 35 years. We both were in the bread business and would help each other out. I worked with Matthew when he was in college. After Wally moved to the country we stayed in touch at least once a month by phone. He was always a talker for at least an hour talking about the good old days and catching up. I just heard of his passing and wish I could have been there. Praying for you. David Temple”
