It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Tedder of Sims, North Carolina, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lawrence Roosevelt Benfield and Elizabeth Taylor Benfield; and her brothers, J. D. Collins and Don Collins. She is survived by : her daughters, Beth Tedder Siko (Augustus, Jr.) of Middlesex and Karen Tedder Gabbard (Jason) of Sims; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Pearson (Kaity), Hannah Pearson, Shanna Gabbard, Selah Gabbard, Joyana Gabbard, Josiah Gabbard and Judah Gabbard; her brother William "Bill" James Benfield (Carissa) of Rocky Mount; her sister-in-law Lois Collins of Knoxville Tennessee; her nieces and nephews, Ashlie Moser, Ava Benfield and Bradley Benfield; and her pet Sadie Grace.
