He was predeceased by : his parents, Tommy Tant and Mildred Hawley Tant. He is survived by : his children, Shannon Speight (Scott) of Rock Ridge, Dylan Tant of Black Creek, Colton Tant of Kettering, OH and Trevor Tant of Dayton, OH; his grandchildren, Greta, Alex, Presley Speight, Makayla, Tommy and Amaru Tant; and his sister Debbie Hinton (Dennis) of Lucama.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggest to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
