He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Carl Davis and Ruth Carter Davis. He is survived by: his son Hunter Davis (Sarah) of Goldsboro; his grandsons, Caison and Cole Davis; his brothers, Frederick Davis (Debbie) of Knightdale and Donald Davis (Janie) of Elm City; and his close friend Ruger. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Joyner's Funeral Home (4100 Raleigh Rd Pkwy W, Wilson, NC 27896). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 2:45 PM at the Marsh Swamp Original Free WIL Baptist Church (6664 Rock Ridge School Rd, Sims, NC 27880).
