She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Buchanan and Ruby Stevenson Buchanan; her husband Harry Rogers; and her sister Betty Winchester. She is survived by: her children, Janeen Frady, Brent Rich and Dwayne Vigil; her siblings, E. J. Buchanan and Frances Cline; her grandchildren, Brandi, Cody, Taylor, Kendra (Boo), Brody and Bryce; and her great grandchildren, Gema, Sawyer, Amiyah and Thatcher.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
