He was predeceased by: his brothers, Everett Smith and Eddie Lee. He is survived by: his daughter Mona Lane; his grandson Anthony Lane; his sister Elizabeth Ann Barfield; his close friend Faye Johnston; his niece Kylee Smith; and his brother Ronald Smith. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and countless friends.
A reception will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sanders Funeral Home Chapel (806 E Market St, Smithfield, NC 27577).
