She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earl Whitley and Hazel Phillips Whitley; her husband William "Bill" Ray Rose; and her sisters, Barbara Woodard and Teresa Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Rae Rose Barbour (Barry) of Four Oaks and Chris Rose of Rocky; her grandchildren, Ashley Rose Mitchell (James), Lee Rose (Nicole) and Kaitlyn Barbour; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Anna, Leia and Everlee; and her brother-in-law Harold Woodard. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Yelverton Grove Ofwb Church (1094 Yelverton Grove Rd, Smithfield, NC 27577).
