Amby Clifton Foote Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Amby Clifton Foote in Smithfield, North Carolina. Amby, born on March 5, 1928 in Sherrill, New York, passed away on October 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sue Evelyn Ennis; his brother Roland; and his parents, Charles Foote and Anna Foote. He is survived by: his children, Barry Foote (Debbie), Kathy Dils (Mike) and Vicky Foote; and his grandchildren, Derek Foote (Courtney), Brittany Foote, Chelsea Mellonas (Patrick), John Calhoun (Megan), Katherine Dils, Elizabeth Walker (Ben) and Emilee Wefald. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; and several special nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Parrish Funeral Home, Inc. (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Parrish Funeral Home (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576).
