It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Bailey Stallings of Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Josephine Toney; and her sister Carolyn Baker. She is survived by: her husband Durward B. Stallings; her sons, Warren Stallings and Scott Stallings (Sharon); her siblings, Peggy Cooper and Robert Toney (Lynda); and her grandchildren, Caroline Freedenberg (Brett), Jordan Stallings and Caitlyn Stallings. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, extended family, and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (202 S 4th St, Smithfield, NC 27577). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Ann's memory to the SECU Hospice House, 426 Hospital Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.
