She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Carroll and Pearline Burns. She is survived by: her children, Tameika Lee (Robert), Kimberly Williams (Tavaris) and Tyrone Burns; her siblings, Reginald "Pee Wee" Burns (Mary), Andre Sanders (Vivian), Mechelle Alford (Donald) and LaTonya Sanders; and her sister-in-law Wanda Burns. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, extended family.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Church of Christ (1011 Massey St, Smithfield, NC 27577).
