She is survived by: her parent Jenevelyn Rogers Avirett; her daughters, Tracey Fisher (Ross Fisher), Emily Casey (Michael Zickefoose) and Ashley Casey; her grandchildren, Emberly Fisher, Bryanna Hicks (John Dorman), Savannah Hicks (Marcus Worrells) and Claira Casey; her great grandchildren, Nova Worrells and Christopher Hicks-Dorman; and her mother-in-law Deane Casey.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
