He is survived by: his siblings, Clara Smith of Winston Salem, NC, James Singleton (Nettie) of Wilmington, Delaware, Arthur "Pinky" Montgomery of Winston Salem, NC and Rose Johnson of Greensboro, NC.; and his children, Emmanuel Crowell of Winston Salem, NC, Barbara Jean Neil of Winston Salem, NC, Loretta Diane Neil of Winston Salem, NC and Lamont Raiford of Winston Salem, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A proud alumnus of Carver High School, Bobby dedicated his career to Shields Construction and made significant contributions to his community.
