He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Pilkington and Myrtle Pilkington; his son Robert Steven Pilkington; and his brother Tom Pilkington. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Price Pilkington; his son Gregory Allen Pilkington (Melissa); his grandchildren, Rebecca Pilkington Marrow (Thomas), Mary Catherine Allen (Brandon) and Kaylie Pilkington Dowless (Josh); his great grandchildren, Mary Claire Allen, Holden Price Allen, Savannah Anne Marrow, Lincoln Gregory Dowless, Collins Elizabeth Dowless and Millie Cate Allen; his siblings, Jane Batten and Charles Pilkington (Denise); and his daughter-in-law Cristy Pilkington.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Parrish Funeral Home (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
