He is survived by: his children, Adam Porter (Jody) of Aurora, Colorado and Mary P. Heilig (Seth) of Selma; his siblings, DeForest M. Burden (Amy) of Florida, Bennett Ward Porter (Susie) of Georgia, Johnny Wyne (Molly) of New Port News, Virginia and Diane Porter of Georgia; and his grandsons, Skyler Porter and Seth Heilig, Jr..
