He is survived by: his wife Margie Ballance Murphy; his daughter Ngoc Tran (Thinh Nguyen); his grandchildren, Leck Vong Tran, Tam Tran, Mai Tran and Minh Tran; and his siblings, Peggy Allen, Linda Williams and Tommy Murphy (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
