It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Maureen King of Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Maurice Chalners Lehman; and her son Russell Carrick. She is survived by: her children, Richard Carrick (Kelli) of Clayton, Ralph Carrick (Debbie) of Florida and Bobbi Layton (Russ) of Florida. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many other family and friends.
