She was predeceased by: her parents, Atanacio Barahona and Maria Castellon; her husband Jorge Menjivar; her sons, Oscar Menjivar and George Menjivar; and her grandson Victor Altamirano.
She is survived by: her children, Ivan Menjivar (Sharon), Orlando Mendez (Janice Mendez), Alba Altamirano and Marlene Amaya; her grandchildren, Evelyn Salzam, Luz Vega, Cristina Altamirano, Nick Amaya, Michael Menjivar, Sheila Jensen and Christopher Mendez; and her siblings, Aniceta Barahona and Ismael Barahona. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
