Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Faye Whitley Rose of Smithfield, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 83, on October 18, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Earl Whitley and Hazel Phillips Whitley; her husband William "Bill" Ray Rose; and her sisters, Barbara Woodard and Teresa Strickland.
She is survived by: her children, Rae Rose Barbour (Barry) of Four Oaks and Chris Rose of Rocky; her grandchildren, Ashley Rose Mitchell (James), Lee Rose (Nicole) and Kaitlyn Barbour; her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Anna, Leia and Everlee; and her brother-in-law Harold Woodard. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Yelverton Grove Ofwb Church (1094 Yelverton Grove Rd, Smithfield, NC 27577).
